Our Story —
In 2016, Chris Sonksen founded Church Boom due to his concern about the challenges that American churches were facing, such as the increase in church closures and pastors leaving their positions.
Being a pastor himself, the founder of South Hills Church, a thriving multi-campus, multi-state church, Chris recognized the importance of personalized coaching and support for pastors.
He launched Church Rescue, an innovative initiative aimed at providing the necessary guidance and resources to foster church growth. Church Rescue collaborates with local churches to offer pastors access to coaching and resources and emergency funding to ensure the continuity of their churches.
Over the past seven years, this initiative has successfully coached numerous pastors and distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to sustain churches within their communities, making it a groundbreaking movement.
